PHILADELPHIA September 17, 2019 — Good Life announces a new partnership with John S. Fletcher and Michele C. Davis, two Tampa Bay-based wealth advisors with nearly 50 years of combined experience in the financial industry. Fletcher and Davis are launching Good Life Financial Advisors of Tampa Bay.

“Good Life is truly honored to call John Fletcher and Michele Davis partners,” said Caitlin Degler, Director of Advisor Relations at Good Life. “We are thrilled to be able to help them serve their clients in a way they only dreamed possible. From our first interaction, we knew this team would carry the message of independence, integrity and altruism in the way we want all of our advisors and staff to do. This partnership will be hugely successful and Good Life is grateful for the opportunity to help John and Michele achieve that success and live the Good Life.”

“After working more than 30 years in the financial services industry, I am very excited to join the team of Good Life and LPL Financial, which is the largest independent broker-dealer in the nation*,” said Michele Davis. “One of the most appealing benefits with LPL is they do not offer any proprietary investment products, which allows me to offer a wider array of investments. This is a match made in heaven to better service my clients to help them pursue their goals and to live the ‘Good Life’! I just wish that I made this move years ago.”

“I chose LPL and Good Life for the opportunity to be with an independent firm,” said John Fletcher. “The big Wall Street firms are putting their needs before those of the clients and foster a sales culture instead of a service culture. Partnering with the largest independent broker-dealer in the nation and the turnkey solutions with Good Life will allow me to focus my efforts on what I love, serving my clients.”

John Fletcher graduated from the University of South Florida in 2000 and prior to starting Good Life Financial Advisors of Tampa Bay, worked in large Wall Street firms. Using a comprehensive financial planning approach, he has helped people make better sense of their finances and put in place a plan to help them feel more confident about retirement. Many of the principles John utilizes while working with clients were learned during his time serving in the United States Navy. Discipline, Service, Unity, Integrity. These are the core values that guide his top priority of providing objective and independent advice.

Michele Davis graduated in 1984 from the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Administration. Immediately after graduation, she started working in New York City just off of Wall Street for one of the largest brokerage firms in the country. She relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 1986 and continued working in the brokerage business where she attained a variety of securities licenses and training. While working in Tampa, Michele was on the fast-paced Institutional Fixed Income Trading desk responsible for handling millions of dollars for short term investments in which her clientele included local banks, mortgage companies and municipalities. Today, Michele enjoys working with retirees, small businesses and professionals.
