About Joe Jordan

Joe Jordan is an inspirational speaker and behavioral finance expert, best known as the award‑winning author of Living a Life of Significance, which has sold over 150,000 copies, been translated into five languages, and is included in Nick Murray’s “The Advisor’s Essential Library.” A former senior vice president at MetLife and leader in insurance sales at Paine Webber, he pioneered initiatives in retail product development, fee‑based financial planning, and behavioral finance, while also co‑founding the Insured Retirement Institute. Honored with the 2023 John Newton Russell Memorial Award, Jordan has been recognized multiple times as one of Irish America magazine’s “Top 50 Irish Americans on Wall Street” and is both a Fordham Football Hall of Fame inductee and longtime rugby player with the New York Athletic Club.

About Colonel Ben Bishop, USAF, Retired

Colonel Ben Bishop is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and senior leader with 26 years of distinguished service, where he flew advanced aircraft including the F-15, F-16, and F-35, logging more than 2,700 flight hours, including 340 in combat missions. A graduate of the Air Force Weapons School, he was recognized as one of the top combat aviators in his field and was awarded the prestigious Risener Trophy, honoring the top graduate across the entire program. Over the course of his career, Bishop led high performing teams ranging from small operational units to organizations of nearly 2,000 personnel, earning a reputation for mission excellence, disciplined execution, and people first leadership. Today, he brings those experiences to the private sector, sharing insights on leadership, culture, and building resilient teams that perform in high stakes environments.

What does Good Life cover?

Good Life will cover a complimentary two-night stay at Omni Amelia Island Resort (September 13-15, 2026), room taxes, self-parking, conference sessions, breakfast and lunch during the conference, the Welcome Reception, and the Sunset Dinner.

Each registration includes one hotel room per registered advisor. Guests are welcome to share your accommodations and attend the Welcome Reception and Good Life Night Out.

What does Good Life not cover?

Attendees are responsible for airfare, ground transportation, personal expenses, and any resort charges incurred during their stay, such as spa services, golf, room service, or other activities. Additional hotel nights outside of the conference dates are also the responsibility of the attendee.

Guests are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception and Sunset Dinner; however, Good Life does not cover guest airfare, additional hotel rooms, or other guest-related expenses.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests are welcome to join you for the Welcome Reception and Sunset Dinner. Please note that conference sessions, breakfast and lunch, are reserved for registered advisors.

If you plan to bring a guest, please indicate this during registration. Conference registration includes one hotel room per advisor. While guests are welcome to share your room, specific room types, bedding arrangements, and room preferences cannot be guaranteed and are subject to hotel availability.

What is the dress code?

Business casual is the recommended attire throughout the conference. For those planning to participate in morning workouts, pickleball, or other wellness activities, we suggest bringing comfortable athletic clothing and footwear as well.

When should I arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving before the Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 13, and departing after the closing sessions on Tuesday, September 15. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am. 

Can I extend my stay at the resort?

Yes. Additional nights may be available at the conference rate, subject to hotel availability. The cost of any additional nights is the responsibility of the attendee.

When does registration close?

Registration will remain open through July 24, 2026. Any changes or cancellations to your registration, hotel reservation, guest information, or event attendance must be submitted in writing to  advisorrelations@goodlifefa.com  by August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.  Cancellations received after this date are subject to cancellation fees, which will be the responsibility of the advisor.

I’m driving. What should I know about parking?

Complimentary self-parking is available for conference attendees. If you have a vehicle, simply inform the resort at check-in. Valet parking is at the attendee’s expense.

What if I need to make changes to my registration or cancel my attendance?

Any changes or cancellations to your registration, hotel reservation, guest information, or event attendance must be submitted in writing to  advisorrelations@goodlifefa.com  by August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT. Cancellations received after this date are subject to cancellation fees, which will be the responsibility of the advisor.

What happens if severe weather impacts the conference?

Should severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances affect the conference, Good Life will provide updates and guidance as quickly as possible. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and are encouraged to review airline policies and consider travel insurance when making travel plans.

What is there to do at the resort?

Attendees are welcome to enjoy the many amenities offered at Omni Amelia Island Resort during their stay. Please note that activities outside of the scheduled conference agenda, including golf, spa services, and other resort offerings, are optional and at the attendee’s expense. We kindly ask that personal activities be scheduled outside of conference sessions and events.

Can I play golf?

Omni Amelia Island Resort offers championship golf courses, and attendees are welcome to book tee times directly through the resort at their own expense. Out of respect for our speakers and fellow attendees, we ask that golf and other personal activities be scheduled outside of conference sessions and events.

Can I bring my dog?

The resort allows one dog weighing 50 pounds or less in designated pet-friendly accommodations within the Sunrise Wing. Because Good Life’s conference room block is not located in the Sunrise Wing, attendees planning to bring a dog should contact Advisor Relations prior to registering. Pet-friendly accommodations are limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Good Life will cover the cost of the hotel room; however, the resort’s $200 non-refundable pet fee and any other pet-related charges are the responsibility of the attendee.

Service animals are exempt from the resort’s pet restrictions and fees. Emotional support, therapy, and comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.
