2018 Greater Reading Chamber Alliance Top 50 Fastest Growing Businesses List

PHILADELPHIA – June 01, 2018 – The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance announced The Good Life Companies ranked fourth on the 2018 Greater Reading Chamber Alliance Top 50 Fastest Growing Businesses List. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Top Businesses awards are presented annually to recognize chamber members as top-performing companies with revenue of at least $1 million in each of the last three fiscal years. Award winners were honored on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Chamber’s annual dinner at the Santander Arena, Reading, Pennsylvania.

“We are very honored to be a recipient of such a prestigious local award. Our team’s drive and dedication propelled The Good Life Companies from number 18 in 2017 to number 4 in 2018. As a company, we pride ourselves in a simple mantra Good Life = Health & Wealth. The Good Life Companies is an ecosystem that incubates our mantra. We are built by Berks County for Berks County and our commitment is shown by building our new national headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania. In addition, we have reshaped the definition of the “stereo typical” financial advisor. We are approachable not intimidating, we are a part of our community,” said Conor Delaney CEO and Co-Founder of The Good Life Companies.

“The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance is pleased to honor businesses like The Good Life Companies for both their growth and their commitment to the Greater Reading area. Their success is a large part of why our community is a top place to live, work, and play,” said Randy Peers President and CEO of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance.

Delaney and Courtnie Nein President and Co-Founder of The Good Life Companies founded The Good Life Companies in 2012 after seeing a gap in the marketplace for successful advisors wanting a turn-key solution to support their independent financial advisory practice. Together they developed procedures, products and support which became the foundation for the offering at Good Life today. The Good Life Companies are comprised of five total entities. There is a fixed insurance agency, Good Life Insurance Associates, Good Life Financial Advisors, financial planning for families and individuals around the country, Good Life Advisor Systems, a service organization catered toward transitioning and supporting independent financial advisors, Good Life Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor, and Good Life Fitness Institute which takes an educational approach to fitness, nutrition and overall health and wellness.

To be eligible for inclusion in the Greater Reading Alliance’s Top Businesses Awards businesses must be nominated. Participating companies are required to supply revenue figures and submit three years of financial statements or company income tax returns. Rankings are based on revenue growth. KPMG, a financial services firm, conducts the analysis using a propriety formula that takes into consideration both dollar increase and percentage increases. The ranking method combines two measures of revenue growth – dollar and percentage increases – for each of the three years, with the greater weight placed on the most recent year.
